Leave a commentI’m going on record here as stating that I’m not a gardening expert, but I’m learning something new every year. Culinary herbs seem to be my strong point, and I use them, too!
The first time I brought herbs in from the garden a housemate asked why I was bringing weeds into the house, and I was shocked to realize that she didn’t seemingly know where herbs came from — that they actually grew outside! Well, I’m setting the record straight here by stating that herbs are not delivered in the dead of night to grocery shelves by the Herb Fairy! They grow in actual gardens, and I plan to share some of my herbal successes here!
You can not only use herbs for cooking! You can make your own herbal teas, herbal vinegars, and herbal massage oils very easily from the plants in your own garden, and I welcome recipes and ideas for other uses of herbs!!
